Two staples of Asia - fire toasted rice and green Sencha tea leaves are blended to produce this robust tea with the fresh flavor of grain. The result is a smooth toasty cup which seems to satisfy the hunger as well as thirst. An ancient Japanese tradition. Things always seem like they were better in the past, even when you objectively look at the past and remind yourself how it sucked. You'll remember things with more colors and the sights and sounds of a pure, bursting, bubbling fountain of life. Memories are broadcast in Technicolor(tm), and the words are spoken with THX-enhanced Sound Quality(tm). Nobody had eating disorders. Everyone did drugs and this didn't cause them any problems. There was a feeling that things were going somewhere, and maybe it would be an alright place, even if it was bland, and we could all look back on this like a really great movie that we were all in. I had all this rage and despair in me that's mostly gone, but maybe I'm missing it. When you've got rage and despair, you can think well at least I have the fact that I'm upset about all of this but when that's gone you just kind of think to yourself, "Man, what happened?". Maybe when that happens you can scramble for your metaphorical Chicago. I've gone back to old things. I've picked up chess pieces again. I've been watching episodes of My So Called Life. I found my old tea pot and old tea leaves. Everything has been warped by time, and the only way to go back is to ride this crazy tea pot through a temporal vortex, which eventually leads back to my couch... in the present.
